Never before in modern history has there been such urgency surrounding the intersection of economic activity, urban form, and human health as we have seen this year with the global pandemic. The engineering community must rise to the challenge of providing the leadership needed to reimagine our infrastructure, to make our cities safe and vibrant economic centers, and to build trust that cities can be safe places in which to work and live.
